I got my Trans Am on St. Patrick's Day 1998. There are many mods for my TA.
You can see them at LS1.com. My 98 Red TA is 1 of 2759 made, M6, TT, has
these mods. Mobil 1, Zaino Polish System, CAGS defeat, Chrome AFS ZR1 17"
wheels, Dunlop Tires 315's!, MSD 8.5mm Super Conductor wires 31.5 ohms av,
SLPjounce bumper spacers, custom 5504 locking gas cap, Firebat decals, Corvette
fuel rail covers, Corvette Mobil 1 oil cap, Firebird rubber mats, B&M Ripper shifter,
Raptor Hood & airbox w/K&N & heat extractors, TA differential cover & Mobil 1, G2
LCA's, G2 sway bars w/Energy Suspension urethane end links, G2 adjustable PHR,
G2 torque arm, Energy Suspension tranny mount, G2 3 point STB, G2 safety loop,
Eibach Pro Kit Springs, Hal adjustable shocks all around, Mac headers & Y pipe w/cats
coated by Jet Hot, stage 8 locking header bolts, NGK TR6'@.040 gap, G2 SFC's, G2
cross brace, G2 LCA brackets, HPPIII, Nitrous Express Kit @ 150HP, MSD window
switch, NOs remote bottle opener, Hypertech 180 degree thermostat, Hurst Roll Control
line lock, B&B Tri Flow cat back w/quad tips. Autooptiks headlight kit that replaces the
sealed beam lights with new housings and Sylvania H7 bulbs. PIAA fog lights (replaced
stock)
Best ET 13.84@101.4mph. Best Dyno, HP=311.2Torque=322.9, 187MPH on
Dyno! No Nitrous runs yet, stay tuned ;)
I have always liked Drag Racing. I race my car once in a while just to see what
we can do. Since the 4th generation F-Body was introduced, I liked this body style.
My TA was my 40th Birthday Present to ME!

Racing Information
I've taken my TA to several tracks. Ennis for drag
racing, Motor Sports Ranch for Road Course Racing,
and Texas Motor Speedway for TMS Charity Laps.
There are still many tracks to take it to all I
need is time baby ;)

Whichever car you have, Corvette, Camaro or Trans
AM. I strongly encourage you to go to LS1.com.
The knowledge base there is wide ranging and there
are lots of folks eager to help you with your mods.
Besides, we have tried lots of things already, and
we know what works and what doesn't work. So take
advantage of that.

about modifiing the LS1 motor. This motor is
found starting in 1997 Corvettes, 1998 Camaros,
1998 Trans AMs like mine. We cover anything
