This car is just amazing!
Since the Vette came out in 1997, I wanted one. Two seats at that time wasn't practical. I wanted the rear seats so that my daughter could ride in back. So I passed on the Vette. I saw the 1998 TAs' and Camaros and I was really taken by the TA's. The fact that it had an ALL Aluminium 300 hp motor put a large grin on my face. It got even bigger when I drove it :) I bought the car and soon after got divorced. Shoulda got the Vette you say huh! Nope, I'm very happy with my TA and I will have a Vette in the near future, hopefuly a 50th aniversay edition in 2003. I will probably keep the TA for a loooong time!

This was an extremely hard decision. I had the opportunity to purchase a 2000 Vette. I thought that the Y2K Vette would be cool to have. I could have had both cars.........but almost no money for mods. So I grappled with the choice of having two cool stock cars or to pass on the Vette and soup up the TA to the max!

Well, the choice was hard, but I think it was the correct one. My TA has been a success and I have even placed in a couple of competitions. First when it was stock at the Dallas Area Pontiac Association Southern Nationals in 1998, taking First Place in Class. I took Second place in 1999 at the DAPA/CFCC show at Sewell Pontiac. This show was strictly for F-bodies. The car is just an attention getter since I bought it :)
